Passenger Injured While Pushing a Disabled Car from the Roadway

 Personal injuries from car accidents do not all occur while riding inside of a car or truck.  Occasionally, a person is injured by a vehicle when they are not even inside of a vehicle at all.  Recently, Sean and Anna settled a case for a client who was struck while trying to help a driver of another care move a stalled vehicle from the roadway.  The distracted driver did not see the flashing hazard signals of the vehicle in which our client had been riding a few minutes before.   The negligent driver struck our client, pinning his leg between the two car bumpers and causing severe injuries.  After many months of treatment our client’s injuries have healed.  We were able to assist him with his medical bills and settle his case for $100,000, which the limit of the other driver’s insurance.
