If you watch TV, you will see more commercials for insurance than just about any other product.
They will say things such as, “We are on your side”, “You are in good hands”, or “Like a good neighbor”.
However, when bad things happen, it is not the insurance company that steps in to make everything okay.
Insurance companies are about profit.
They are a business of shareholders, and their job is to close a claim for as cheaply as possible.
They also know that getting a lawyer involved will cost them more money because a lawyer will know everything to which a person is entitled.
This goes for both another driver’s insurance claim and your own.
Remember, to the insurance company, you are simply another file that the adjuster needs to close as cheaply as possible.
