According to a preliminary crash report, Felicity A. Coleman, hailing from Forrest City, aged 37, was on the passenger seat.
The driver, Kendrick Coleman, aged 41, was driving a 2006 Chrysler Sebring when the vehicle was struck into a tree.
According to the report, the vehicle failed to overcome a curve and crashed into the tree.
The vehicle was northbound on Arkansas 1/Washington Avenue and approaching Scott Street when the tragedy struck.
Felicity A. Coleman lost her life in the fatal car crash in Arkansas, whereas Kendrick Coleman was injured. Kendrick Coleman was taken to Regional One Health in Memphis for treatment of his injuries, according to the report.
The weather conditions at the time of the accident have been reported to be clear and dry.
According to a summary report by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, the death toll currently stands at a minimum of 36, due to fatal car accidents in Arkansas for the year 2021.
