Five people lost their lives in Arkansas car accidents on Thursday, 8th April, 2021 and Friday, 9th April, according to state police.
A woman aged 61 belonging to Maumelle had an accident at 2:00 p.m. while traveling near 310 Baker Wallis Parkway.
The accident occurred in Conway when the car hit a tree.
The vehicle was identified as a Ford Mustang, 2001 make.
Another accident happened in Pine Bluff on U.S. 65 South.
According to a summary Gena Liebman, aged 28, from Pine Bluff lost her life when ran in front of a vehicle, identified as a Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Liebman’s body was taken to the County coroner’s office.
The weather conditions of both the Arkansas car accidents were dry and clear.
On Friday at 1:25 a.m. a tragic accident on Interstate 30 at Malvern took the life of Darrell Derrick, 34, from Dallas.
A passenger, identified as Matricia Howard, aged 40 was also injured and rushed to Saline Memorial Hospital.
Derrick was headed east in a Mercury, 2010 make, when his car struck a tree.
Derrick’s body was shifted to the Hot Spring County coroner’s office.
Weather conditions were clear and dry.
Michael Moore, 57, lost his life when his vehicle struck a tree, ejecting Moore from the car.
He was headed on Zion Road at 4:50 p.m. when the accident occurred.
The body was taken to the Izard County coroner’s office.
Brain Day, aged 67, belonging to Cave City died in a head-on car crash on North Main Street.
Day was driving Mitsubishi Endeavor, 2006 make that collided with Toyota Corolla, 2005 at 9 p.m.
Two passengers, Debra Day, 57, and Sarah Estes, 45 were rushed to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. Day’s body was taken to Roller Crouch Funeral Home.
