I-49 Crash in Springdale Kills 20-Year Old from Forrest City

An I-49 crash in Springdale claimed the life of a man, aged 20 from Forrest City.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. when the man who was a passenger in the car died as the vehicle overturned.

The deceased man in the I-49 crash in Springdale was identified as Jaheim Brittnum, whereas the driver and two other passengers were injured in the accident near the Sunset Avenue exit, reported by Arkansas State Police.

The driver, aged 18, from Springdale, was driving a Hyundai Sonata, 2007 towards the north.

The vehicle left the road and overturned several times ejecting the driver and two other passengers.

According to troopers, the road conditions were normal whereas the weather was cloudy.

A separate incident reported a motorcyclist, aged 70, from Topeka, Kan.

The victim could not sustain injuries and died due to the injury that occurred on May 29 in a rural Franklin County crash.

The deceased, identified as Steven Swim was driving Harley Davidson, 2011 at 4:21 p.m. on Arkansas 215 when he met an accident.

The motorcycle swerved into the north side ditch then hit a street sign.

Swim was rushed to the Washington Regional Medical Center, where he later died. The conditions were clear and dry.
